Abstract

Community needs for animal protein are increasingly increasing. One animal protein that can be developed and commonly farmed in local Papuan communities today is pigs. Pork has the disadvantage of high fat content, making pork is not widely consumed by the public. Additional materials that are often used by the community, basically aims to improve the taste of food, ut without realizing it, the additional material actually has another effect, both negative effects and positive effects. One additional ingredient that can be used as a mixture in pork is mayana leaf (Solenostemon scutellarioides (L)), but has not been scientifically studied, how the influence of the leaves of mayana (Solenostemon scutellarioides (L)) on the quality of pork. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of mayana leaf extract on the organoleptic physical test of pork through the boiling method. This study used a complete randomized design with 3 treatments and 3 replications, treatment including the use of mayana leaves (Solenostemon scutellarioides (L)) 0%, 20% and 40%. The parameters observed included cooking losses, and organoleptic tests including color, taste, texture, aroma, acceptability. The results showed that boiling using mayana leaf extract did not have a significant effect on cooking losses in pork. In organoleptic tests, boiling using extracts and mayana have a very significant effect. With the highest value for A3 treatment color of 3.65. The taste in A2 treatment was 3.21. Texture and aroma in the treatment of A3, with the highest value for texture 3.77 and aroma 4.00

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth and production of Oryza Sativa.L rice plants. using a combination of NPK and single Phonska fertilizer. The research method was Random Design Group (RBD) using experiments seven times with three replications. The results showed that the treatment of 35 hours of NPK N2 in plants averaged 80.26 cm. Plant height at 45 hours of NPK N2 treatment an average of 80.26 cm at age 60 hours in combination treatment of NPK N1 and NPK N2 was relatively the same at around 91.94 cm. At age 35 the number of first tillers in NPK N1 treatment averaged 17-19 tillers while at age 45 the average number of plants was 16.45 in NPK N2 treatment while at age 60 the first NPK N1 treatment to provide maximum number of tillers with an average 18.67 tillers and at the age of 90 the first treatment of NPK N2 was the number of tillers with an average productive of 12.82 tillers. Treatment of N2 NPK grains the average number of tillers 37.10 in the treatment of the number of N1 items NPK content with an average content of 86.40 panicles and in the treatment of NPK K2 gave a weight of 1000 seeds with an average of 29.67 gr in the treatment of dry grain gave P1 NPK harvest with an average of 673 tons / ha.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of motivation and social capital on agriculturalcredit decision making. The sample used is the Proportional Random Sampling method, data analysisusing binary logistic regression. The results showed that motivation (X1) and social capital (X2) witha significant level of 95%, influenced the decision of agricultural credit loans with significant valuesof 0.027 and 0.004. Motivated farmers, 3155 times higher in decisions about getting agriculturalcredit loans from other farmers. Farmers who have social capital are 4,231 times higher in decisionsabout getting agricultural credit loans from other farmers. The attitude of farmers in the use ofpesticides that are registered, permitted and not expired is not according to the rules because they arereasonable, which can still be used as long as the packaging is not damaged due to pesticides that canincrease production levels. The actions of farmers using personal protective equipment are good butthere are still many farmers who use long-sleeved clothes and shorts on the grounds that farmers donot know the correct function of protective clothing as a whole
